I Forgot Day, Made in the USA Day

I cut another hole in the wall!!!
I’ve been wanting to for years. I said something to my ex before I kicked him out, he said it was a crazy idea. I know my dad didn’t like the way things were set up in the house, but for whatever reason nothing was done about it.
My old bedroom is beyond the cut out, which was an issue when the plumber had to come in. Not a huge issue, but it was still an issue, especially for a teenage girl. Now that the “bedroom” is empty, it’s not so much of an issue.
Before I cut the hole in the wall, we had to walk through my son’s bedroom to get to the basement door. His bedroom, way back when, was a family room…then it turned into a living room for me and my son – a place for us to get away from my parents or give grandma/grandpa a break.
This makes things a bit easier all the way around. It’s a small walkthrough, but it works. The door isn’t screwed into the wall yet, but will be soon.
I really don’t know what I will turn the old bedroom into right now. I did have pool supplies in there, but I’ve since moved them into the bathroom. I do have stuff stored in there that I plan on selling or donating…but that won’t last very long. Hopefully.
I really don’t want to tear the carpet up, as it is brand new. I’ll figure it out at some point, right?
I have the rest of my life!
I’m sure there will be more photos eventually, but for now…

I have had the plumber in here twice in the last two weeks or so. Once because the pipes were making a strange noise and then I couldn’t get the water to clear up. But, I think the issue has been resolved. Cost me some money, but I’d rather deal with it now, than have a bigger issue on my hands.
hope you have a great day!
thanks for stopping by!!
