I tried to find the lyrics in Irish, but couldn’t. This was my maternal grandfathers favorite hymn, or one of his favorites. I’ve always enjoyed this song, but after learning – or relearning/remembering some of the dark history – and reading through the lyrics it takes a whole new meaning. At least for me it does.
