Exploitation while seeming to admire.

Most victims of Narcissistic abuse do not understand just how much the Narcissist actually looks down on them. The initial love bombing would have us believe that the Narcissist adores our qualities of kindness, caring, concern, and, above all, empathy.

The truth is the pathological narcissist sees such qualities as weaknesses to exploit. They actually feel superior to those who show feelings and, soon, they come to find our emotions tedious and irksome.

Why the attraction initially? For supply! Once they have verified that we are “vulnerable,” they drain us. They are so skilled that it’s almost always much later that we have our “AHA” moment. That’s what superior beings do. No guilt or remorse for them.

Exploitation is considered fair game by all Zero Empathy/Dark Triad personalities.
