… I took the stove pipe apart to clean it and realized I needed a new ceramic blanket for the wood stove, it came apart in my hands. And rather than put the stove pipe back together and then have to take it back apart when the blanket came, I kept it apart and stuck one of my dad’s old flannels in the opening. I have since replaced the blanket and put the stove pipe back together.
