I do not understand why American “conservatives” are so hostile against “liberals”. Can somebody try to explain it?

Your question reminds me of the stories where school administrators ignore hundreds of reports of bullying and then threaten to expel the victim when the victim finally fights back against the bully since the adults have refused to do their job and address the situation properly. The hostility that you perceive from conservatives is simply a reaction to decades of absolute obsessive hatred and vitriol from Democrats.

Meanwhile, the Dems have repeatedly and consistently accused us of being racist, fascist, greedy, uncaring monsters who want to destroy the environment and force the godless left to live under our righteous rule.

The left just spent four years accusing us of being existential threats to “democracy.” They jailed trespassers for years, tried to imprison the current president, and engaged in violent rhetoric that encouraged his attempted assassination.

I can’t imagine why so many of us are simply unwilling to just let that go.

Conservatives aren’t burning flags, protesting, supporting Hamas, supporting domestic terrorism, bad mouthing the country, committing assault on law enforcement, tumbling down statues, burning down businesses, setting Waymo vehicles on fire, torching Tesla’s. We are all at work, paying taxes for deadbeats.

We’re too busy trying to pay bills and taxes to be out protesting and whining because we aren’t getting everything we want for nothing.

Since most of us are Christians, we don’t hate anybody. Standing up for ourselves is not what Leftists expect from us. We used to ignore them, work hard, raise our families, support our communities and our churches. They became more and more aggressive, trying to provoke us. So now that we are standing up for ourselves, they are projecting the hatred they actually feel on us. It is not coming from us.
