University Places ‘Trigger Warning’ On The Bible: Prophecy News Watch …“The University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom is facing backlash after the school warned students that studying events in Scripture, including the crucifixion of Christ, can be “triggering,” and thus, the study of them should be avoided by some. The Universities placed the “trigger warning” on the four Gospels–Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John–claiming, without explanation, that the events leading up to the death of Christ depict “graphic bodily injury and sexual violence.” The same label was also placed on the book of Genesis for its account of Cain and Abel. The Daily Mail, which received details of the advisory under the Freedom of Information Act, called the guidance to students “bizarre” and highlighted the voices speaking out against the university’s actions.”
hope you have a great day!

Government Shutdown Clock – The White House
…Day 40 – and counting ~ this will be a new part of my posts until the gov opens back up…
Senate works through weekend on shutdown deal; Trump to attend Commanders game: the hill …“The Senate will again gather at the Capitol on Sunday in an attempt to negotiate an end to the now 40-day government shutdown, after a rare Saturday session yielded little progress despite mounting pressures. Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.) told reporters entering the weekend that lawmakers will remain in session until a deal is reached to reopen the federal government. He said Sunday that if Democrats vote to advance the House-passed continuing resolution, he will offer another stopgap spending measure with a later expiration date combined with three full-year appropriations bills. Senate Democrats, meanwhile, are still pushing an offer to extend Affordable Care Act tax credits for one year. The effects of the shutdown have intensified in recent days.” … I know the government has reopened, but I’m going to leave this here, for now.
