“I will not risk offending the Jew.”
“The Jew is already offended,
whether you risk it or not.”
We need to stand up for what we believe in, including the New Testament of the Bible. Not out of hate, but love. There are so many things to be offended by these days – our belief shouldn’t be one of them. Didn’t Christ, our Messiah, teach love?
The Bible is full of truth, one just has to put their prejudices aside and be willing to look.
Christ also said there would be haters…they hated him too. They crucified him because of what he stood for…and he’s not the only one.
No one has special rights or privileges due to religious beliefs, at least they’re not supposed to. Say “America first” and some Jews will cry “antisemitism”. It should be America first! When we are strong, everything else good follows. Tired of our tax dollars going to fund other countries health care, education, defense… the US is broken, and should be a top priority, if not the top priority, until we fix our own problems. (But certain evil people want the US to fail, because their agenda cannot go forward until the US falls.)
hope you have a great day!
thanks for stopping by!!
Government Shutdown Clock – The White House
…Day 40 – and counting ~ this will be a new part of my posts until the gov opens back up…
Senate works through weekend on shutdown deal; Trump to attend Commanders game: the hill …“The Senate will again gather at the Capitol on Sunday in an attempt to negotiate an end to the now 40-day government shutdown, after a rare Saturday session yielded little progress despite mounting pressures. Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.) told reporters entering the weekend that lawmakers will remain in session until a deal is reached to reopen the federal government. He said Sunday that if Democrats vote to advance the House-passed continuing resolution, he will offer another stopgap spending measure with a later expiration date combined with three full-year appropriations bills. Senate Democrats, meanwhile, are still pushing an offer to extend Affordable Care Act tax credits for one year. The effects of the shutdown have intensified in recent days.”… I know the government has reopened, but I’m going to leave this here, for now. It was still early when I saw “the government is open”, but now that a little time has passed, things are more clear. The government is still shutdown, the clock is still clicking. What’s happened is the house voted to bring the continuing resolution to the floor, possibly voting on it today. I have a post with more details later today…
