White of the Indiana Textbook Commission calls for the removal of references to the book Robin Hood from textbooks used by the state’s schools. Government Shutdown Clock – The White House
…Day 43 – and counting ~ this will be a new part of my posts until the gov opens back up…
Current Developments: As of November 12, 2025, the House of Representatives is expected to vote on a Senate-passed funding package aimed at reopening the government. The White House has expressed support for this bill, indicating that it will be signed into law if passed. The vote is anticipated to occur around 7 p.m. Wednesday (search assist)… supposedly the government is reopen, they got enough votes last night, but the shutdown clock is still ticking – and I haven’t seen anything definitive as of yet – so this stays

The Democrat shutdown is officially over after 42 days, 22 hours and 25 minutes…but the clock is still ticking… government runs slower than molasses on a cold day 😅
