Yes, narcissists can be defeated; all you have to do is these 5 things:

~ Don’t take anything from the narcissist personally because whatever they are saying about you is just total projections. Projections from narcissists are just confessions. Therefore, in the end, nothing can be taken personally because none of this is your truth. Recognize these lies and dismiss them as such.
~ Try to disengage. Disengage every time they want to engage you in their argument. They want you to express yourself, they want you to justify yourself. Just completely disengage from the situation.
~ Refuse every single request, every reconciling attempt they undertake with you.
~ Take note of everything that happens, every single interaction, because documentation can be used as evidence to prove who they truly are.
~ Decide to be the best version of yourself. Make a decision to be the version they did not want you to be.
