Romans 11:21-22
(Great Bible)
Be not hye mynded, but feare: for seynge that God spared not the naturall braunches, take hede, lest it come to passe that he spare not the also.
22 Beholde therfore the kyndnes and rygorousnes of God: on them which fell, rygorousnes. but towardes the, kyndnes: yf thou continue in hys kyndnes. Or els thou shalt be hewen of,

translation:

Be not high minded, but fear: for seeing that God spared not the natural branches, take heed, lest to come to pass that he spare not you also. Behold therefore the kindness and righteousness of God: on them which fell, righteousness, but towards you, kindness: if you continue in His kindness. Or else you will be cut off.

summary:

Warning and Hope
Holy roots (the patriarchs) support all branches. Natural branches (unbelieving Jews) were broken off; wild shoots (believing Gentiles) were grafted in. Gentiles must remain humble—God can easily graft natural branches back in if they do not persist in unbelief.

Practical Lessons for Today

• God keeps His word—even when history seems to say otherwise.
• Spiritual pride is deadly; branches can be broken off.
• Gentile believers should value Jewish roots, pray for Israel, and model mercy that invites jealousy leading to faith.
• Worship flows naturally when contemplating God’s unstoppable wisdom; Romans 11 ends not in argument but adoration.

We must always be aware that we are under judgment. God desires us to continue moving forward in faith toward His Kingdom, where we will enjoy the ultimate expression of His goodness toward us. But if “we neglect so great a salvation”, we will not escape His severity, designed to shake us to our marrow and move us to repentance.

Embrace Humility
Recognize that salvation is by grace alone, and avoid boasting over others. Do not be arrogant, but be afraid.

Share the Gospel
Be encouraged to share the gospel with both Jews and Gentiles, knowing God’s desire for all to come to repentance.

Trust in God’s Sovereignty
Rest in the assurance that God’s plans are perfect and His promises are sure.

hope you have a great day!
