Trump’s speech may have been bombastic, but it was accurate: American Thinker …“Last night, Trump delivered a speech about the state of the nation. It was bombastic, but it was also accurate and necessary given the Democrats’ efforts to downplay what he has achieved. Trump opened his speech with a completely accurate statement: “Eleven months ago, I inherited a mess, and I’m fixing it.” When Biden left office, inflation was soaring, the government was a bloated, inefficient mess, and the open border meant illegal aliens were sucking up jobs and welfare, while the evil and negligent were killing Americans. That’s a mess by any definition. Now—with Congress helping only by passing the One Big Beautiful Bill—Trump has indeed wrought magnificent changes that have altered America’s trajectory. And I’m not blaming generic “Republicans” for the failure to be helpful. As always, the fault lies with the RINOs who, when push comes to shove, are as likely to side with Democrats as they are with Republicans.”
