Discrimination is good; tolerance can destroy us: American Thinker …“We have made a mistake in tolerating things and people that deeply violate common sense and objective morality. Western civilization has gulped down a seemingly lethal overdose of intolerance for discrimination, but discrimination is absolutely essential for life. Without discrimination, life could never have happened. Single-cell creatures must discriminate between useless and essential molecules, in order to survive and reproduce. More complex life forms also make essential discriminations to survive, prosper, and reproduce. The more complex the life form, the more complex the discriminations. For humans, discriminating between deadly, dangerous, risky, useless, helpful, and wonderful things governs our survival, quality of life, and our ability to raise children capable of doing the same.”
