Things Women Do When They’re Done Trying
She stops reminding you of what hurts her
– because she knows you don’t listen.
She stops initiating conversations
– because silence feels safer now.
She starts doing things alone
– because she’s already adjusting to life without you.
She no longer argues
– because your actions have spoken loud enough.
She dresses up and doesn’t
– because your opinion tell you no longer matters.
She stops asking for time
– because she’s tired of begging for crumbs.
She talks less, smiles less, needs less
– because she’s letting go silently.
She acts “fine”
– because she’s already broken inside, and done explaining why.
hope you have a great day!
thanks for stopping by!!
Judas and the Democrats: American Thinker …“In the Gospel of John, Judas says to Jesus as the woman washes his feet with priceless oil, couldn’t this have been sold and the money given to the poor? John comments, “He said this, not because he cared about the poor, but because he was a thief. And having charge of the moneybag he used to help himself to what was put into it.” Jesus reprimands him and says the poor are always with you. John 12. A couple of decades ago a friend invited me for Sunday brunch to one of the fanciest clubs around. As a teacher in a private school there was no way I could have afforded the membership to belong to such a club nor pay for such a repast, so I accepted with pleasure, certain I would see all the rich magnates in the city. To my astonishment it was the entire leadership, all Democrats, of the city, county, and state governments. Not a Republican in view, as far as I could tell. All I could think of for the rest of the day was this encounter of Jesus and Judas and how correctly it described the scam before me. These were the people who sneered at me for complaining about high taxes. It meant I did not care for the poor. They, on the other hand, did. They raised my taxes on my meager salary compared to theirs, which they were now spending on champagne breakfasts. They had taken my money and put it in their bags, assured that they could make me feel guilty about not caring for the poor and then get more money for their own use. Now with the discovery of the frauds in Minnesota we see exactly how this works. The politicians pass laws raising taxes on the middle class, they give it to favored groups, who then contribute to their campaigns so they can win again. If anyone complains, they are racist and do not care for the poor. So, they shovel money out of the treasury, taking not a little for themselves in high salaries, campaign contributions, and who knows what else, and then look down on the suckers paying for it. It has been a perfect cycle, but now, maybe, it is being shown for what it is. Pure thievery. With a pious defense.”
