Therfore, as the congregacyon is in subieccyon to Chryst, lykewyse let the wyues also be in subieccyon to theyr husbandes in all thinges.
25 Ye husbandes, loue youre wyues, euen as Chryst also loued the congregacyon, and gaue hym selfe for it,
26 to sanctifye it, and clensed it in the fountayne of water thorow the worde,

Therefore, as the congregation is in submission to Christ, likewise let the wives be in submission to their husbands in all things. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ loved the congregation, and gave himself for it, to sanctify it, and cleansed it in the fountain of water through the word, to make it unto himself a glorious congregation, without spot or wrinkle, or any such thing: but that it should be holy, and without blame.
