Something worth thinking about…
Right now all three Abrahamic faiths are increasingly saying the same thing: that we may be living in the end times, or at least in the season that will usher in the arrival of their messiah.
Jews are looking for a messiah who will be a powerful earthly leader, a king who brings peace and restores Israel.
Muslims are looking for the Mahdi, a global leader who will unite the Islamic world and establish justice.
Christians, on the other hand, are waiting for the return of Jesus Christ.
Three different expectations.Three different figures.Yet all centered around the same region of the world… and the same moment in history.
But here’s where it gets interesting.
When you compare the descriptions, the leader that many Jews and Muslims are expecting begins to look very similar to the one the Bible warns Christians about.
Scripture tells us that before Christ returns, a powerful world leader will arise, one who brings peace, gains global influence, and is received by many as a savior.
The Bible calls him the Antichrist.
So it raises an important question:
Could the world be preparing for one global leader… but different religions are expecting him for completely different reasons?
One calling him the Messiah.One calling him the Mahdi.And Christians recognizing the warning signs Scripture already gave us.
Jesus said in the last days many would be deceived.
That’s why knowing the Word matters more than ever!

…I’m only sharing this for awareness…be very careful when anyone starts setting dates. We don’t know when the end will be – but I don’t think it’s going to be this year. Yes, the Jews are looking for a messiah to attack and kill their enemies so they can rule the world and enslave non-Jewish. Christians are looking for one that will destroy all evil and restore peace on earth.
I don’t know a whole lot about the Mahdi, so I won’t comment on it.
