Government raining rabies vaccines down from the sky?: American Thinker …“Most Americans know nothing about the USDA’s oral rabies vaccination program.  I first learned about it from a post by one of my readers on X. Notably, this program is not new.  The USDA’s 2023-2027 national plan states that federally funded wildlife rabies management through oral rabies vaccination (ORV), began in the United States in 1995.  The same plan says the V-RG vaccine used in the program has been used in the United States since 1990, and that between V-RG and ONRAB, roughly 8 to10 million bait doses are distributed each year.  Most of that effort, about 90 percent, is aimed at raccoons and the raccoon rabies virus variant in the eastern United States.  According to USDA and CDC documents, rabies is nearly always fatal once symptoms appear, but it is preventable, and wildlife remains the main reservoir in the United States.”
