“Let’s cut through the noise and talk about why the government reopened — and why the Democrats folded like a cheap lawn chair.

“First, let’s be crystal clear: this is the Donald Trump administration now.

“Joe Biden is gone. His handlers are gone.

“The Democrat gravy train? Over.

“That old machine — the one funneling money through back-door deals, junk programs, and bureaucratic corruption — just hit a wall.

“They didn’t reopen out of responsibility. They reopened because they were staring down political execution.

Their money pipeline dried up.

It was still early when I saw “the government is open”, but now that a little time has passed, things are more clear. The government is still shutdown, the clock is still clicking. What’s happened is the senate voted to bring the continuing resolution to the floor, possibly voting on it today. Once it passes the senate, it moves to the senate – then to the president’s desk to be signed, if approved. I believe that’s how it works.

Several Democrats joined the Republicans, allowing the bill to be brought to the floor. I heard not too long ago that the government could still be shut down for another day or two, and this bill would only fund the US federal government through January. Then, everything shuts down again if they can’t come to an agreement.

Republicans really need to go nuclear and end the filibuster. WE will see a lot of this over the next three years…
