Good Grief Day, What Do You Love About America Day

Men sexually desiring you is not a compliment. It’s not validation, it’s not a flex, and it damn sure doesn’t mean they respect you. We gotta stop mistaking attention for admiration, and lust for love. Just because a man wants access to your body doesn’t mean he values your mind, your heart, or your spirit. It doesn’t mean he sees you … it means he sees what he wants from you.
Walking into a room and being sexualized immediately? That’s not flattering. It’s exhausting. Especially when you know you carry so much more … intelligence, kindness, strength, depth … and yet somehow, all that gets blurred by desire. They can’t see past what they want long enough to actually see who you are.
Being desired is easy. Being respected, understood, and valued for your soul? That’s rare. That’s the real compliment.
So no, a man telling you what he wants to “do” to you doesn’t make you feel special … it makes you feel unseen. You’re not flattered, you’re tired. Tired of being approached like a fantasy instead of a full human being. Tired of the shallow compliments, the fake charm, and the way your worth gets reduced to looks instead of energy, intellect, and essence.
Let’s be clear: sexual desire is not admiration. And if that’s all a man sees in you, he doesn’t see you at all.

Mark Kelly can’t use the ‘given too much’ defense: American Thinker …“Senator Mark Kelly (Ariz.) is one of six Democrat lawmakers who incomprehensibly urged military members to refuse unlawful orders — without even identifying such. Even from their warped, seditious perspective, it was unnecessary, because such precepts, including the Uniform Code of Military Justice, are drilled into recruits from day one…and continually thereafter. As a retired Navy captain, Kelly is still subject to the UCMJ; indeed, the Pentagon is investigating allegations of his serious misconduct. Kelly’s predictable response is vapid. He wrote, in part, the following on X: “I’ve given too much to this country to be silenced by bullies who care more about their own power than protecting the Constitution.” Shut up, already! Such “given too much” defenses to curry sympathy are trite and formulaic. Many of us have given to this country, but that doesn’t make us immune to legitimate investigations for running afoul of the UCMJ. “
