Concerning posts using the Bible out of context:

Paul is writing to Timothy about enduring hardship for the gospel. The full trustworthy saying is: “If we died with Him, we will also live with Him. If we endure, we will also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He also will deny us.
If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.”

This is not a blanket promise that God blesses persistent unbelief. God remains faithful to His own character and His Word, including His warnings. He cannot “deny Himself” by pretending that rejecting Jesus (the Messiah) is somehow compatible with covenant blessing. Jesus said clearly: “Whoever denies Me before men, I also will deny before My Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 10:33).

The True Children of Abraham…

The New Testament gives us beautiful clarity on this:

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Galatians 3:28-29

Paul explains that the promises to Abraham find their fulfillment in Christ, the singular “Seed” (Galatians 3:16)**. Those who belong to Jesus, whether Jew or Gentile, are the true heirs. It’s not about ethnic descent alone. It’s about being united to Jesus by faith. God has always worked through a faithful remnant, not automatic privilege based on ancestry (see Romans 9:6-8)**. Throughout the Old Testament, He rebuked and disciplined Israel for disobedience, the wilderness wandering, the exile, the prophets warnings. Blessing was tied to covenant faithfulness, which ultimately pointed to the Messiah.

What About Modern Israel and Prophecy?
Yes, we should pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6)**. Yes, God has not cast off His people entirely, there is still a remnant chosen by grace (Romans 11:1-5)**, and Scripture speaks of a future day when many from Israel will turn to their Messiah and mourn for the One they pierced (Zechariah 12:10; Romans 11:26)**.
But we must be careful. Disagreement with the policies of the modern government of Israel is not the same as rejecting God’s faithfulness. The Bible does not command us to give uncritical political support to any earthly nation as if Old Testament promises apply automatically today apart from faith in Christ.

Turning these deep truths into political propaganda risks missing the heart of the gospel: Jesus is the cornerstone. Rejection of Him makes Him “a stone of stumbling” (Romans 9:32-33; 1 Peter 2:6-8)**. In Christ, the dividing wall between Jew and Gentile is broken down, creating one new people (Ephesians 2:14-22)**.

The Bottom Line
God is faithful when we are not faithful to His character, to the gospel, and to saving everyone who truly trusts in Jesus. But no one, Jew or Gentile, gets a pass on denying the Son while claiming the Father’s blessing (1 John 2:23; John 14:6)**.

Let’s keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Pray for the salvation of Jewish people and all nations. Pray for peace in Jerusalem. And rejoice that in Christ, we are all one, true children of Abraham, heirs of every promise!

“For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ… And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” (Galatians 3:27, 29)**.
