You can bypass all the religious bookstores, bypass theological seminary, and fulfill Genesis through Revelation, if you’ll simply do 2 things: 1) Love God, 2) Love your neighbor as yourself. Although it seems simple enough, those are the 2 most difficult commandments in the world. Anyone who says different is a self-righteous liar! Loving God includes obeying the Gospel, i.e., acknowledging one’s guilt of sin and trusting the Lord Jesus Christ to be forgiven (John 20:31; Acts 10:43). We are the SINNERS and Jesus is the SAVIOR. It’s that simple! There is much debate today over the Bible, in particular over the meaning of individual words. Thankfully, it is not difficult to figure out what it means to love God and love our neighbor. Yet, these are the two things that people do the least in life. It is a sad irony. Few people truly love God, for if we humans loved God we would obey Him (John 14:15).”
