Hebrews 13:8
(Bahairic Coptic translation)
ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲚⲤⲀϤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲪⲞⲞⲨ ⲚⲐⲞϤ ⲚⲐⲞϤ ⲠⲈ ⲚⲈⲘ ϢⲀ ⲈⲚⲈϨ.

translation:

1599 Geneva Bible: Remember them which have the oversight of you, which have declared unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering what hath been the end of their conversation. Jesus Christ yesterday, and today, the same also is forever.

Wycliffe translation (modern English): Jesus Christ, yesterday, and to day, he is also into worlds.
…this is what most modern translations read as, or something similar

Jubilee Bible 2000: Jesus Christ the same yesterday and today and for the ages.

…yep, I had to share different translations this time, something told me to do so, and I listened. This isn’t to say that one translation or the other is wrong, but it’s good to read different versions. Maybe we can glean something, or maybe learn how our ancestors believed.

summary:

They are urged to remember past spiritual leaders, imitate their faith, and stay anchored in the unchanging Christ. Strange teachings, especially food-based regulations, must be rejected; hearts are strengthened by grace, not ritual diets.
