How do you trigger a narcissist?

1. When you say NO;
~ Narcs never want to hear a no out of you! They always want to have their way. So, when they hear no—the narc is going to rage out or they’re going to get angry and go into a silent treatment.

…my ex absolutely hated it when I told him no!

2. When you IGNORE them;
~ when you ignore their calls and texts—they HATE it! But it’s okay for them to do it to you. Because narcs have a double standard. They think they could treat you any which way but when you ignore them, they don’t like it…

…if I didn’t respond to his texts/phone calls, my ex would get livid. It didn’t matter if I was driving or working. I needed to respond ASAP!!

3. When you EXPOSE them;
~ narcs will go on a rampage when you expose them! They will tell everybody that you’re crazy. They’re terrified of exposure.

So, what will trigger a narc is when you go around and tell everybody how toxic they are and that they’re a narc.. That will trigger them and they will definitely seek revenge on you in some sort of way. They’re going to put all the shame on you and whatever you expose the narc for; they’re going to say that you’re the one doing it to them. That they’re the victim!
