We have had so much rain that the ground cannot hold another drop. The creeks are swollen, the fields are soaked, and every dark cloud feels like it came looking for us.

It makes me think of Noah.

For forty days and forty nights, the rain did not let up. Noah could not see the mountain. He could not see the shore. He could not see the ending.

But he could still hear God.

That is the part we need to remember.

When the storm is loud, God is still louder.

Some of us are not just tired of the rain outside. We are tired of the rain in our lives. Tired of sickness. Tired of worry. Tired of losing people. Tired of fighting battles nobody else can see.

But God did not build the ark to let Noah drown in it.

He built it to carry him through.

God has not forgotten you. He has not lost you in the storm. He knows exactly where your ark is, how high the water has risen, and how much more you can take.

The rain will stop.

The water will go down.

The door will open.

And the same God who carried Noah through the flood will carry you through what is trying to drown your faith.

So get up. Pray anyway. Believe anyway. Praise Him in the rain.

The storm may be over your head, but it is still under God’s feet.

Dry ground is coming.

…Whatever problems we’re facing – God knows. He will carry you through.

hope you have a great day!
