My peace is non-negotiable now.
There was a time when I’d stay in conversations that drained me.
I’d keep giving chances long after respect had disappeared.
I’d tolerate chaos because I thought walking away meant I was giving up.
Not anymore.
I’ve learned that peace isn’t something you stumble across.
It’s something you protect.
That means saying “no” when you used to say “yes.”
That means leaving environments that keep pulling you backward.
That means accepting that not everyone gets unlimited access to your life.
The older I get, the more I realize being alone isn’t the same as being lonely.
I’ve felt lonely in crowded rooms.
I’ve felt exhausted surrounded by people who brought nothing but drama.
And I’ve also experienced incredible peace sitting by myself with a cup of coffee.
That’s when it finally clicked.
Solitude can heal you.
Chaos slowly drains you.
So if protecting my peace means my circle gets smaller…
If it means people misunderstand my boundaries…
If it means I spend more time alone than I used to…
I’m okay with that.
Because I’d rather have a quiet life filled with genuine people
than a noisy life filled with constant conflict.
I’d rather sit alone than sit with chaos.
Peace isn’t something I’m willing to negotiate anymore,
because I fought too hard to find it.

THE VIRUS OF DISTRUST – How COVID Shattered Faith in Institutions… and Left a Nation Searching for Truth: vaxxfacts.substack.com …“The pandemic began as a biological crisis, but its most enduring legacy is something far more dangerous: eroding public trust in government, media, medicine, and institutions trusted to tell the truth. There are moments in history when a civilization suffers an injury that cannot be measured in casualties, currency, or territory. The wound is invisible. Yet its consequences endure for generations. The COVID era was one such moment. Millions became sick. Millions died. Trillion$ were spent. Entire economies were transformed. But beneath the statistics, another casualty emergedone whose effects may ultimately prove more consequential than the virus itself. Trust. Not blind trust. Not naïve trust. But the basic confidence required for a society to function: The confidence that public officials are acting honestly. The confidence that experts are speaking truthfully. The confidence that institutions deserve the authority they wield. Today that confidence lies fractured. And once broken, trust is among the most difficult things to restore.”
