If you thought Flock cameras were bad, wait until you see what is replacing them.

There is a new surveillance camera that screws into existing street light sockets. The same socket that has been on American light poles for 60 years. No new poles. No solar panels. No black pillars to spray paint or tear down.

A utility worker installs one in 15 minutes and it is invisible. It reads plates at 155 miles per hour from 328 feet away. It streams live video around the clock. And it feeds everything into a police command center that also pulls footage from your Ring doorbell, your neighbor’s security camera, and your HOA gate cam. All on one screen. In real time.

The company is called Axon. They already make the body cameras, the Tasers, and the cloud server where most police departments store their footage.

While every activist in America was focused on tearing down Flock cameras, Axon was quietly installing the ones you cannot see.

It is already happening. One city canceled its Flock contract after finding 1,400 immigration searches on its own citizens. The council called Flock a “bad actor.” By the following month, that same city had signed a contract with Axon. Nobody protested. Because nobody knew the name had changed.

This is repeating across the country. The same councils that voted to remove Flock are signing Axon contracts because no one is paying attention to what replaced it.

But here is the part that may keep you up at night.

Axon just paid $625 million for the company that runs your city’s 911 system. That company was founded by Israeli special forces and intelligence operatives. An early investor was a former commander of Unit 8200, Israel’s equivalent of the NSA. And the money behind it traces back to a fund that included Jeffrey Epstein. I know it sounds like some crazy conspiracy theory – right?
